describe_launch_configurations async

describe_launch_configurations(
    *,
    config_overrides: Optional[AsyncAutoScalingClientConfig] = None,
    launch_configuration_names: Optional[LaunchConfigurationNames] = None,
    next_token: Optional[XmlString] = None,
    max_records: Optional[MaxRecords] = None,
) -> LaunchConfigurationsType

Gets information about the launch configurations in the account and Region.

Parameters:

  • launch_configuration_names (Optional[LaunchConfigurationNames], default: None ) –

    The launch configuration names. If you omit this property, all launch configurations are described.

    Array Members: Maximum number of 50 items.

  • next_token (Optional[XmlString], default: None ) –

    The token for the next set of items to return. (You received this token from a previous call.)

  • max_records (Optional[MaxRecords], default: None ) –

    The maximum number of items to return with this call. The default value is 50 and the maximum value is 100.

Raises:

  • InvalidNextToken –

    The NextToken value is not valid.

  • ResourceContentionFault –

    You already have a pending update to an Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling resource (for example, an Auto Scaling group, instance, or load balancer).

  • UnknownServiceError –

    The service returned an error code this client does not model.

Examples:

To describe Auto Scaling launch configurations This example describes the specified launch configuration.

>>> await client.describe_launch_configurations(launch_configuration_names=['my-launch-config'])
