Creates a virtual cluster. Virtual cluster is a managed entity on Amazon EMR on EKS. You can create, update, describe, list and delete virtual clusters. They do not consume any additional resource in your system. A single virtual cluster maps to a single Kubernetes namespace. Given this relationship, you can model virtual clusters the same way you model Kubernetes namespaces to meet your requirements.
Parameters:
-
name(ResourceNameString) –The specified name of the virtual cluster.
-
container_provider(ContainerProvider) –The container provider of the virtual cluster.
-
client_token(ClientToken) –The client token of the virtual cluster.
-
tags(Optional[TagMap], default:None) –The tags assigned to the virtual cluster.
-
security_configuration_id(Optional[ResourceIdString], default:None) –The ID of the security configuration.
-
session_enabled(Optional[Boolean], default:None) –Indicates whether the virtual cluster has session support enabled.
-
scheduler_configuration(Optional[SchedulerConfiguration], default:None) –The scheduler configuration (concurrency and queue limits) to apply to the virtual cluster at creation time. When omitted, no limits are applied.
Raises:
-
EKSRequestThrottledException–The request exceeded the Amazon EKS API operation limits.
-
InternalServerException–This is an internal server exception.
-
ResourceNotFoundException–The specified resource was not found.
-
ValidationException–There are invalid parameters in the client request.
-
UnknownServiceError–The service returned an error code this client does not model.
