delete_glossary `async` ¶

delete_glossary(
    identifier: GlossaryId, *, config_overrides: Optional[AsyncGlueClientConfig] = None
) -> DeleteGlossaryResponse

Deletes a business glossary from Glue Data Catalog. A glossary cannot be deleted if it still contains glossary terms.

Parameters:

identifier (GlossaryId) –

The unique identifier of the glossary to delete.

Raises:

AccessDeniedException –

Access to a resource was denied.
ConcurrentModificationException –

Two processes are trying to modify a resource simultaneously.
ConflictException –

The CreatePartitions API was called on a table that has indexes enabled.
InternalServiceException –

An internal service error occurred.
InvalidInputException –

The input provided was not valid.
ThrottlingException –

The throttling threshhold was exceeded.
UnknownServiceError –

The service returned an error code this client does not model.
