get_dev_endpoint ¶

get_dev_endpoint(
    endpoint_name: GenericString, *, config_overrides: Optional[GlueClientConfig] = None
) -> GetDevEndpointResponse

Retrieves information about a specified development endpoint.

When you create a development endpoint in a virtual private cloud (VPC), Glue returns only a private IP address, and the public IP address field is not populated. When you create a non-VPC development endpoint, Glue returns only a public IP address.

Parameters:

endpoint_name (GenericString) –

Name of the DevEndpoint to retrieve information for.

Raises:

EntityNotFoundException –

A specified entity does not exist
InternalServiceException –

An internal service error occurred.
InvalidInputException –

The input provided was not valid.
OperationTimeoutException –

The operation timed out.
UnknownServiceError –

The service returned an error code this client does not model.
